Bleed refers to a printed area which is outside the finished trim area. Printers use bleed to allow for slight errors in alignment when trimming the printed sheet, which could otherwise result in unwanted effects such as thin white lines at the trim edge.

We specify 3mm bleed. If you are supplying PDF artwork, ensure any background colours extend to 3mm outside the cutter guide.
